Recent Activity
In the Art Honor Society we strive to inspire and recognize outstanding ability in art. We will display works of art from inspiring students and encourage artistic development. Community service plays a major role in what we do; student’s achievements are displayed throughout the community and we are involved in other creative endeavors of the school. Some of the activities include community and school murals, student family art festival at the elementary level, OPHS activities including Fall Frenzy, Mardi Gras, Spring Fling, Art Induction and art exhibits throughout the year.

Group Announcements Angel TreeWe are doing Stocking Stuffers for the Salvation Army to be donated to needy children during the holiday season. You can pick up a stocking from Ms. Mcfarland. The age categories are infant, 1-2, 3-5, 6-9, and 10-12. When you turn in the stocking, you should staple it at the top and include information about the age group you stuffed for and whether it's for a boy or girl. Stockings are due back on or before Wednesday, Dec. 7th to room 1502. Please return all unfilled stockings too. NO PERISHABLE ITEMS PLEASE.
If you have any questions, you can pick up an information sheet from Ms. McFarland. -Christina Marshall Family NightMarshall Night is Nov. 17th from 5:45 to 8:15. There are 12 stations for us to run, which you should have already signed up for if your planning on going. Any questions or anything your not sure about, ask us.
Christina Money due date pushed backDue to the Art Honors headquaters not requiring the due money until a later date, if you haven't gotten your dues in yet, you still have time. I can't remember the actual date, but I want to say the 3rd. Just get them in ASAP if you haven't already to insure you don't run out of time.
-Christina Money is Due soon!Just a reminder that your dues to be in art club need to be in by NO LATER than Monday, October 17th! If you have something going on where you can't get them in in time, come talk to myself or Ms. Macfarland about it BEFORE THE DUE DATE. If you don't pay your dues in time, you will be kicked out of the club.
